WELCOME TO OUR CLINIC

My name is Bethan Timmins and I set up Timmins Health & Performance in March 2019. After 5 years in the industry I decided now was as good a time as ever to set up my own clinic. After moving to the Leicestershire area in September 2018 I was fortunate to find the wonderful Leicestershire location where we are now based; Rectory Farm. In October 2023, having moved back to Warwickshire, I set up our second location which is now based in the heart of Warwick at the Therapy and Performance Clinic.

 

I graduated at Coventry University in 2014 with a BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy degree and have been working as a Sports Therapist ever since. I began working in a small injury clinic in Coventry before I graduated and I still work there to this day. I also do a lot of work in Rugby (Union and League), currently working as Lead Therapist for Warwickshire RFU and Midlands RFU, Chief Medical Officer at Stratford-upon-Avon RFC, and Sports Therapist for Leamington Royals Rugby League. I also spent several years lecturing in Sports Massage Therapy level 3, and on Sports Therapy, and Strength and Conditioning undergraduate degree courses. In the past, I have worked with Coventry RFC, Rugby Lions RFC, Coventry Dragons Rugby League, Coventry Bears Rugby League and many more.

I endeavour to provide the highest levels of care and rehabilitation to all of my clients. I am passionate about helping people recover from injury, regardless of their background, level of fitness, or age. It doesn't matter if you're a professional footballer, an amateur fencer, or a tv marathon champion, I am happy to help. If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to contact me.

I am a Graduate Member of the Sports Therapy Association (STA). The STA ensure that all of my qualifications are kept up to date and that I complete a minimum of 24 hours of Continued Professional Development each year to ensure my knowledge is also kept up to date with new research. I have full Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance from Balens Specialist Insurance Brokers.
